7. What are the storage requirements for ZIP System liquid flash?

Storing ZIP System liquid flash properly ensures its longevity and effectiveness for future use. Here are the recommended storage guidelines:

Ideal Storage Temperature:
The ideal storage temperature for this product is 80°F. Keeping it within this temperature range helps maintain its consistency and performance.

Seal the Container: After use, make sure the cap or nozzle of the tube is tightly sealed. If there’s leftover material in the caulking tube, use a cap or tape to cover the nozzle. This prevents moisture from getting to the liquid flash which would cause it to cure in the tube.

Dry Storage: Store the product in a dry location to avoid exposure to moisture. This is especially important because moisture can compromise the uncured product's properties.

Shelf Life: ZIP System Liquid Flash has a shelf life of 12 months when stored properly. Check the product label for the specific expiration date or manufacturing date and try to use the product within this time frame for the best performance.

Avoid Sunlight Exposure: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or UV rays can degrade the product, so store it in a shaded or covered location.

8. Is ZIP System liquid flash VOC compliant?

ZIP System liquid flash contains no solvents or isocyanates and complies with US EPA National VOC standards for architectural Control Measure for Architectural Coatings, 63 FR 176:488848. ZIP System liquid flash also complies with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) Suggested Control Measure for Architectural Coatings (SCM).
