Cut-In Installation of EXACOR Underlayment Between Framed Walls

The primary installation method for EXACOR^® floor underlayment is to install the panels in a manner that covers the entire floor system before the construction of wall framing. This method reduces the installation time and creates the least waste. However, EXACOR underlayment may be installed after the walls have been constructed. This Technical Tip covers the installation process for EXACOR underlayment panels installed between wall framing – sometimes called “cut-in.”
